Selamat Hari Raya! Hari Raya is nearly here. This weekend, in homes across Singapore, family and friends will gather to celebrate the end of Ramadan fasting with a Hari Raya Aidilfitri feast. Every household celebrates differently, but one thing you can guarantee is great food, and lots of it! To help you celebrate, we’ve gathered some of our favorite Hari Raya cookie recipes from across the internet. Selamat Menjamu Selera!
Pineapple tarts
We’ll begin with a Hari Raya classic, the pineapple tart. Eaten during most of the country’s many religious celebrations, every family will have their own version. We love this recipe from the Malay Mail. A fresh batch of these won’t last very long!

Red Velvet Cookies
These red velvet cookies are a sure fire way to impress your guests (or steal the show if you’re going to somebody else’s home for Hari Raya feast). Getting the vibrant red coloring right can be difficult, but it is definitely worth the effort. These cookies from BitterSweetSpicy taste as good as they luck!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Chunks
More chocolate! This is a great recipe, courtesy of Nasi Lemak Lover, to try if you have many younger guests. It makes lots of mini bite-size cookie chunks that are ideal for little hands. That said, there’s no reason your fully-grown guests can’t enjoy these tasty treats! Bake a batch of these and watch them disappear almost as soon as the tray hits the table.

Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan Choco-Oat Cookies
The thing we love most about Hari Raya is that it brings everybody together. But cooking for so many different people, with varying dietary requirements, can be difficult. So here’s a delicious recipe from food blogger Bee-Healthy that’s perfect for nut-free, gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
